The shortest way home
is a staircase.
Four double rooms one floor above the restaurant, named after what sits in the kitchen: sage, nutmeg, pepper and rosemary. Two face the street, two face the courtyard and have a balcony. In 2026 the hotel was awarded One MICHELIN Key.

The € 3,50 is the overnight and infrastructure levy. It goes to the municipality, not to us. Children up to five sleep free in their parents’ bed; six and seven year olds are € 10 and € 20; from eight they count as an adult.
What is in the room
Linen bedding, a chocolate fondue in the afternoon, toiletries from the pharmacy in the next village, a wine fridge you can order from, air conditioning, a safe, a coffee and tea station. In the drawer: a charging cable for every phone, ear plugs, a steamer for a shirt, a humidifier, a game of Mikado and something to read.
Wi-Fi is free. Parking is across the road, with a charging point for electric cars. The public open-air pool in Leutschach is free for our guests in summer.
Breakfast
Included, every day, from 8:00 until 12:00. Where the table is laid depends on the weather and the day: downstairs in the restaurant as a rule, outside in the courtyard under the citrus trees when it is warm — and on Wednesday and Thursday, when the house is closed to outside guests, the breakfast trolley comes up to your room.

Honestly, before you book
No pool, no sauna, no gym, no spa, no reception around the clock. We are two people. In exchange, we both cook.
The house is old and it shows in one place. The rooms are up a staircase and there is no lift; there is a step into the bedroom, and the shower has a high edge. If someone in your party is unsteady on their feet, call us first — we will tell you honestly whether it works.
Minimum stays. One night is enough from January to April, in June and in November. From May and from July to October, Friday and Saturday need two nights; long weekends and the weeks around Christmas need three. A single Saturday night is possible only together with dinner.
