By car

From the A9 motorway, exit Ehrenhausen: fourteen kilometres through Gamlitz, about a quarter of an hour. If you are driving the South Styrian Wine Road for its own sake, come from Gamlitz over Ratsch and Glanz — it takes longer and it is the reason people come to this valley.

Distances by car. Parking is opposite the house, free, with a charging point for electric cars.

Without a car

There is no useful train. The regional guest taxi WEINmobil picks you up at your accommodation and runs daily from 10:00 to 23:30 — book it by phone at +43 3454 94 127, and do it before you sit down to dinner, not after.

If you are taking the wine pairing, the simplest answer is upstairs: one of the four rooms.

How to book

A table: through the reservation form, or simply by email. The form is in German, but it asks only for the date, the time, the number of people and anything we should know. Writing to office@lieperts.at in English is just as good.

A room: directly on our own booking page — no portal, no commission, and the same price.

Who you will meet

Lisa and Manuel Liepert do everything together: the prep side by side, and in the evening Lisa plates each course while Manuel is out front explaining what is on it. That is the reason the house feels the way it does — and the reason it is shut two days a week.

We both speak English. Slovenian we understand better than we speak it, and we are happy when someone tries.
